About Us
A message from Will Tooby, owner of New House Farm, December 2025
New House Farm is situated in the beautiful Teme River Valley and is a Soil Association certified organic farm of 240 acres, in addition to over 20 acres of woodland, 20 acres of willow for biomass and some beautiful old permanent pastures. It is home to different enterprises and organisations including The Fold CIC with its Community Farm growing vegetables and the nature trails.
The Bransford Webbs Plant Company, formerly Bransford Nurseries, occupies around 40 acres and employs around 50 people full time. Green and Away operate on Holywell field where they set up and run their eco conferences and events under canvas during the summer.
My hopes and dreams for the farm
To steward this beautiful land and its nature in a way that leaves it biodiverse and in good heart for future generations be they human and or more than human.
To organically produce a range of healthy seeds, grains and pulses helping to create and be part of a local and regional, low carbon food system, based on organic, regenerative, plant based production of healthy, clean food, for human consumption whilst developing the biodiversity and nature density of the farm.
It’s a sad fact that extractive farming practices and globalised food commodity markets are such that the hidden social and ecological costs of industrial food are more than the value or price paid for the food itself.
Organic farming
We cultivate 90 acres of arable crops, using agroecological principles, registered organic with the Soil Association, much of which is in the flood plain of the river Teme.
Our Story
New House Farm has a rich history of organic farming. Much of our land was first registered as organic in 1979 but was withdrawn in the late eighties due to financial pressures.
In 2007, we proudly re-registered as organic and have now been committed to organic practices for over 15 years.
